Octoberish

Late post, AGAIN! Story of my life!

Instead of me writing everything that has happened in the past few months, I'll just post pics. Things that are most recent though are:
1. Gibson is my wild child. He is in to everything. He is a climber, which scares the daylights out of me. 
2. Gibson eats anything and everything.
3. Grey started pre3k this year! He is at the SHS votech. (wayyyyy cheaper than any place else)
4. Grey is learning something new every day, and is so excited about it! We'll see how long his love of schools lasts.
5. Kenny's last day at work was October 3, on Friday. His 1st day at home, ALONE, with Gibson was yesterday. No one was hurt, and no one died. I'd say it was a great day!
6. We have now been in our house a year, and it has been a dream every day we have been there. 
7. Our 1st beach trip with the boys was at the end of August. We went to Orange Beach, and it was SO much fun! Already planning our next trip! Grey is not a huge fan of water, so it takes him a minute to get comfortable. He loved the beach though! Gibson loves it!
8. The terrible 3's have MOST DEFINITELY hit the Luther household. Grey has been off the chain lately with his little attitude!
9. Gibson says mommy, daddy, HOTTY TODDY!, bye bye, and tons of other things! He is repeating everything lately! He is hilarious! He loves running around naked after his bath.
10. Kenny's band, Ordinary Citizens, are officially done this month. :(
11. Gibson turned 1!!!! And finally started walking a few after. Both boys waited until they were a year to walk. 
12. Grey played tball for the first time. We should've waited until he was older. He was NOT a fan. He wanted to sit with me, or go play. I don't blame him! Ha! It was a good experience though. So cute watching them at that age run around and having no clue what they were doing.
13. Grey STILL sleeps with us. I hope he reads this when he's older because he is a total mama's boy :) He still rubs my fingers when he's tired. He has become scared of everything lately! I can't even leave the room.

It's been an awesome past few days.

Gibson took his 1st steps and Grey pooped in the potty! That's HUGE in our house, no pun intended.

I only have about 3 weeks left of school and then SCHOOL'S OUT, FOR SUMMER!!!!!! I can't wait to see what it has in store for us this year. I'm so excited to sleep late (late is 8am!, hopefully) and just hang out with the boys.

Gibson will be 1 in a few weeks. I still can't believe how fast time goes the older you get. I pray I can take the time to stop and enjoy everything.

I'm tired.......what's new

So, once again I'm playing catch up!

Grey is potty trained!!!! Well, except the pooping part, but it'll come :) ha! He is also living up to the terrible 3's. It was like my sweet, loving  little boy turned into a whiny, screaming toddler!! He hates mornings. It's like pulling teeth to get him up and ready. Kenny says I'm being paid back for how I acted. Whatever........ He's still sweet, he just has more and more moments when I'm not sure what child I'm walking up on.

Gibson is 10 months now and crawling everywhere and pulling up and cruising. It got to where he wouldn't let me put him down and screamed if I did, now he doesn't want to be held. He wants to be free! He thinks he's big, just like Grey, and acts it too. Is he sleeping through the night you ask? NO!!!! This pig is killing me! He still needs to eat once in the middle of the night. I've been trying to stop feeding him and he's not having it. So, in order for me to sleep, he eats.

The week of spring break was not fun for any of us, but I glad I was off. Gibson got a virus, then I got the virus. When mama is sick, all hell breaks loose. Let's just say, I still have 2 boys to take care of no matter what the circumstances are. Kenny helps, don't get me wrong, but Gibson only wanted me and Grey is running in and out wanting me to do stuff. One good thing came out of that week though, we got our beach vacation booked for August!!! The whole Luther clan is going and I couldn't be more excited!!!!! We are going to Orange Beach and it will be both boys' first time at the beach.

Kenny took this picture this past weekend of Gibson and his mom. It really shows the love she has for these boys. I asked Grey if he had fun this weekend staying with them, and he looked at me so happy and said "they my best friends". I asked him who was? He said pawpaw, neenee, and Paul! Haha! Kenny's grandfather from Indiana was in town for a visit.

This kid is hilarious!

The things kids say! Grey cracks me up constantly with the things he says. He calls Kenny's mustache, his "musmash". Kenny recently got him a real tool set, with the tool belt, hard hat, tools, and googles. He told me the other day he had to go get his " gobbles" on! I just laughed! Of course I ask him all the time what the are just so he will say it. He also calls girls, " grills"! I just love this age!!!

Real Quick!

We've been waiting and it finally happened......Gibson is a CRAWLER!!! He is everywhere now and it's too cute! Scary, but cute! This is the stage when they don't want to be constricted in anything and try everything to get down. Yayyyyy!!! hahaha!!! He is teething up a storm still , and has 2 new top teeth. Oh! And he's FINALLY sleeping through the night, not sure if I posted that last time.
